The new digital appearance of a language solutions company
mutasd a Website-otWe use and enjoy the products of a growing number of streaming providers and similar digital content giants in our country. But we don't realize how much work goes into making this content available in our native language. espell knows exactly what it takes, having been in the language localization business for over 35 years.
espell’s services are used by global social media platforms, international content providers, and digital products around the world. Their international presence is significant, but they felt they are lagging in the marketplace because their look and feel did not follow international trends and competitors' visual solutions. This is where we came in. They first approached us for a new website, but it soon became clear that what they needed was complex communication design material. After 6 months of working together, we came up with a very modern, technology-focused identity with people at the center. The real challenge and excitement of the project was the conceptual directorial principle on which we built their visual world.
The logo, the colors, and the images selected for the website reflect the feelings that espell had at the very beginning: a future-focused innovative look, directness, and a human-centered design distinctive and differentiated from the competition.
"We aimed to renew our website. With the help of zwoelf, not only a new website was created, but also a new logo and image. We had an exact idea of what we wanted. With a lot of joint work and a better and better understanding of each other, we reached a final result that everyone is satisfied with. Thanks!"
What is branding? A detailed overview
We came to the project with a brief ready. espell was clear about the direction they wanted to go, where they wanted to change their look and the key priorities we needed to keep in mind during the design process. The kickoff meeting was attended by key decision-makers and professional leaders from espell. After the first 3 meetings, we put together the final sitemap.
If it ain't broken, don’t fix it, they say. Regardless of its appearance, espell's website worked great. During the restructuring of the site, we paid particular attention to not only keeping the existing strengths, but improving them. Our main solution was the installation of services on a dedicated page and the creation of direct sales pages for specific target audiences. The new website has a lot of dynamic content.
While designing the website, it became clear that we were also launching an identity project.
espell's previous designs were based on applied graphics; we created the new design with few graphics and a lot of art direction. In addition to the usual deliverables, we created a brand-specific photo library and photo mood. espell’s new look is futuristic, people-centric, and purple, an associative identity system that allows everyone to find their own meaning in it, but the mood it creates remains the same. It’s something that speaks to everyone, across industries. A bit like how language works.
